Q.

Is the government grants never payback rule in place for small businesses?

A.
The government grants never payback option may be available through the Canadian government grants and loans programs for small businesses. Most of the funding the government is giving out by way of grants for small business funding means there is no requirement for payback. In the case of a small business loan the terms are different however. For the government grants never payback option, one would have to apply for a grant for their particular business that would best suit their needs. The Centre for Small Business Financing has advisers that are advisers in this field and we would be happy to give you some guidance. We can be reached at 1-866-682-7580.
